Further information

The fully functional version of DbCombo is only available in Pro form. Lite versions provide a basic cut-down feature-set. DbCombo Pro is available in an evaluation version (one month time-limited) as well as a number of commercial versions (licensed by url, server or enterprise).

Two versions of DbCombo Lite are available, a free version (with discreet DbCombo branding) and a paid version (where the branding may be removed).

Free version

DbCombo Lite, single-url restricted, not time-limited
This version of DbCombo can be used without charge. However, it only offers a basic ('Lite') feature-set and the DbCombo branding (logo & link) cannot be removed.

Evaluation version

DbCombo Pro, single-url restricted, one month time-limited evaluation license
To allow you to evaluate all of DbCombo’s features, this license provides a full version of DbCombo which expires after one month. Upgrading to the non-time-limited version is easy – you simply need to enter the serial number obtained when you purchase the full version.

Commercial versions

DbCombo Lite, single-url restricted license - $29
You can use DbCombo Lite on a single production web site – served by a single url and hosted on a single server. If your site is hosted on multiple servers (e.g. clustering) you should not purchase this license. The difference between this version and the free DbCombo Lite version is that you may remove the DbCombo branding (logo & link) with this edition.
Development: permits use on a single development machine.

DbCombo Pro, single-url restricted license - $99
You can use DbCombo Pro on a single production web site – served by a single url and hosted on a single server. If your site is accessed by many diferent url's, or if it is hosted on multiple servers (e.g. clustering) you should not purchase this license.
Development: permits use on up to 5 development machines.

DbCombo Pro, single-server-name restricted license - $199
You can use DbCombo Pro on a single production web server. This server may serve any number of sites / urls / domain names. This license is ideal for customers with sites which are accessible by more than 1 domain name. It is also suitable for small ISP's who wish to provide DbCombo for use by their customers. If your site is hosted on multiple servers (e.g. clustering) you should not purchase this license.
Development: permits use on any number of development machines.

DbCombo Pro, unrestricted, 2 server license - $399
You can use DbCombo Pro on two production web servers within your organisation. These may serve any number of sites / urls / domain names. This license is ideal if your site is hosted on multiple servers (e.g. clustering), or you need the additional flexibility that the unrestricted license provides.
It is also suitable for small ISP's who wish to provide DbCombo for use by their customers.
Development: permits use on any number of development machines.

DbCombo Pro, unrestricted, 10 server enterprise license - $749
This is equivalent to the Pro, unrestricted, 2 server license, except that it covers up to 10 servers within your organisation.
It is also suitable for ISP's who wish to provide DbCombo for use by their customers.

DbCombo Pro, unrestricted, (unlimited servers) enterprise license - $1,499
This is equivalent to the Pro, unrestricted, 10 server license, except that it covers use on an unlimited number of servers within your organisation.
This license is suitable for large ISP's who wish to provide DbCombo for use by their customers.

Source code licenses
To allow for complete customisation, DbCombo source code licenses are available. These allow you to deploy a customised version of DbCombo within your organisation.

Product developers
The DbCombo developer's programme provides source code and support resources for firms who wish to embed DbCombo functionality within their product.

Redistribution
If you need to include DbCombo within a redistributed product (with or without modifications to the source), we offer a couple of options. An unlimited redistribution license grants you the right to distribute DbCombo with a specific product without royalty. Alternativly we offer generous discounts for bulk license purchases.

Resellers
We offer generous discounts for resellers wishing to market and sell DbCombo on to developers.
